Pimax 5k+ cracking and support no where to be found

Hi everyone, as you can see from the photos attached my pimax 5k+ is experiencing the cracking issue. The headset has only been used for seated simulations and by no means abused in any way. Also, the cable appears to suffer from the snowy issue as well.

I’ve emailed pimax support twice around a month ago and they still have yet to respond to either message. So today I went to try again, however, every time I try to send the support request it says there is an issue and could not be submitted. So if you were wondering why I am doing this here now you know.
