Just pointing out: about 5700 backers, last we know 700 have yet to make a decision, 1100 are still waiting for 8Ks. Drum roll only approximately 3900-4000 headsets are required for the rest. But don’t mind me. Nothing to see here, move along.
They already said they produced more 5K+'s than needed to fulfill backer orders.

Right, so why 4400+ shipped? We are being reported a surplus, no more 5Ks needed to send to backers who want them. What I have missed is that some 8ks have reached backers, but I don’t believe enough to make up for the difference.
Edit: no I am wrong the 8ks are already included in the 3900, Pimax is over reporting. I know maths is hard, ain’t nobody got time for that.
yes you have told us before that it’s 5-7 working days from the HK warehouse to the backers destination. Is there any way to know if my head set has already reached the HK warehouse?

“We will send you tracking info when headset is ready to deliver”

yea very frustrating…what the heck is so difficult about them confirming that a range of headset backer #'s has arrived at the HK warehouse?? I’m baffled by the vagueness of their process, in a day and age where communication can be very fast if they choose to. They can’t be that incompetent and in the dark themselves I hope?

Was told mine was on his way since second of jabuary…7/10 days and 3 days to prepare does 15 days if i go wide.
so should have been here since at least the 17/18 and i should have received it.
Always asked for info, my guess is the lied to me saying headset was on his way when it wasn’t, to avoid questions, then i am sure they know where they are but if they admit its still on way it would mean i was told BS.

Those boxes we see in pictures at the Pimax HQ…they are labelled (with a range of headsets enclosed ) that are scanned out at the Pimax offices and then scanned in box by box and “checked in” at HK …no?
Yes, certainly you must be right(but just a guess), unless they have their own fleet of trucks and maybe even then(I am sure they don’t).
@Matthew.Xu @anon74848233 can you give us some insight on tracking from Pimax to warehouses and also tracking afterwards?
yes, this is what I would like to see as well. Why so difficult to do for backers who at this point have lost all patience for waiting? I guess it just makes too much sense to impliment though.

If masses of backers don’t switch and or suddenly all of the undecided ones report in, what we should see is 8k boxes only.
So @anon74848233 when taking a picture, please move 2 or 3 8k boxes to the front, to at least keep the dream alive.

It’s not on the way. There’s a separate post about the status of 8K. Brace yourself for the Chinese Spring festival… it’s a few weeks without any info, shipping, production etc. The 8Ks will be produced after the festival.
