There are others who are still yet to receive their units, however others in their countries are getting theirs. It at least shows that their should be on its way and everything will go smoothly.
When literally no one in the UK is getting their units when they were shipped over 2 weeks ago, you start to think that something isn’t right. People in other countries in Europe who had a later shipping date already have theirs. So why is no one in the UK getting theirs delivered? We are bitching because something very clearly wrong and we want answers. Yet the Pimax team pretty much refuses to acknowledge any of our questions.
Not that I am aware of. Only one I can think of is Portugal because one backer said that he and another backer had not received his, but that sample size is a bit too small to draw any conclusions.
Other than that I have seen people from everywhere say they have either received their unit or have some tracking information.
There are people from the UK who have received theirs but they were very low backer numbers who were scheduled to get theirs before Christmas. There was one UK backer who received his on the 7th, but he was also in that earlier delivery and his seemed to get delayed.
Since then, backers from all around Europe and the US who on the first spreadsheet were down as “Arrived in S/H 1/7” have been receiving their units, however no UK backers who were in the same batch (the one arriving in S/H on the 1/7) have received their units.
I have even seen German backers who were on the later batch to S/H on the 1/14 receive their units last week. One German backer was even down as not completing the survey on the first spreadsheet and he got his delivered on Monday.
Edit: Also the batches for Europe (and Australia for whatever reason) get sent to the UK and are then distributed to the other countries… If they were in the same batch, it means that a lot of the UK units are literally in the country and are getting held up by something. All we want are answers
Just to spread some positive speculations for a change .
According to Pimax’s self reported number on 18-Jan about 1500 units had been sent from their oversea’s warehouse or have reached their backers.
If we look at the graph, 1500 units had been sent from Shanghai at around 1-Jan(Edit: more like 26-Dec).
Assuming that we can rely on the data and shipping time hasn’t changed, a lot of units or at least tracking information will arrive over the next 3 weeks. A LOT, but not enough to fulfill all pledges unless they tap into stock that’s supposedly already overseas(why not earlier?).
Looks promising but doesn’t answer the question of UK backers.
Are you waiting for an 8k unit or 5k ? If its the 5k i can understand your frustrations with the run-around weve had over the past year ,i havnt looked yet but would be interesting to see how many people in uk have there 5k units cas they sure as hell cant blam it on backer order .
Waiting for the 5k and what really gets me is being told my headset was on his way on Second of January.
The silence really gets me, luckily i do have a life and plenty of things to do.
I also know that its just around the corner and within a month i ll be enjoying it.

There is a UK backer in the #1200’s who is in the same boat as everyone else.
I’d be fuming if I was that early a backer and have waited over a year for this while backers in the #5000 numbers received theirs.
I bought my pledge in September and I can only imagine how annoyed the original UK backers are.
It is interesting that we get pictures of the boxes which are all marked with 8K, 5K and what appears to be a destination. Somewhere in those dark elusive Pimax offices there is an employee who has all the information. And while he or she sits there with all the knowledge of each backers actual status and knows that he or she has the power to heal the pain of thousands of backers. No instead that person sits there with their Pimax issued employee uniform consisting of a top hat, a pure golden monocle dipped in the tears of a thousand backers and accompanying white glove and black piano finished cane.
Each and every day they wear their top hats and monocles sipping on their fine champagne with their pinky fingers up while they work to orgasm off each backers post as that poor backer musters up what little hope they have left in their life to ask “Where is my headset?”
Climax is achieved as they each take turns copying and pasting a reply so vague and so unclear it leaves more questions than the answer it was supposed to give.
