PC failing to Detect Pimaxvr

Piplay is scanning but does not detect Headset.

My PC is; i7-6700, 16GB memory, GTX970, Windows 10 Pro 64. Windows is updated, video driver is latest 381.89 and Piplay is ver. 1.2.63x64. The headset is in primary HDMI port and the USB has been in several ports trying to get headset to work.

I can see a bit of the main desktop through the headset, so power is getting to it.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted PC.

Please advise.

Try to contact support in skype, this is a bit strange, last version should not have issues with detecting headset.

i have the same problem, my headset is not seeing by piplay :confused:

Me too. After update Pimax can not find my headset …

Thanks for your comment, but I did the instalation almost 4 times with and without virus scanner and its not working.

Somebody have 1.2.63 working fine?

Yeah this seems a problem with the v1.2.63 version indeed

Try to launch as administrator. My works well.

Hi,
I have rolled back the video driver to previous version & used 1.2.57_x64. Virus scanner is disabled. Same problem, Pimax not detected & screen blinks.

Today i have updated video drivers from nvidia to the latest build and this cause following issues:

  1. headset switched to video mode, its was in pimax before i updated/restarted my pc.
  2. pimax headset was set as primary display regarding nvidia / windows settings, i was forced to disable it in order to get all menus back to my minitor.
  3. with disabled decide pimax could not be recognized (obviously, but still)
  4. trying to enable keeps nvidia panel hanging or crashing piplay

Its the latest nvidia package that become available couple days ago.

Previous drivers worked with no issues.

update: after couple crashes i could run it, to make headset recognized i had to enable checkbox in the nvidia panel. Since it was in video mode i had to switch to pimax mod, this caused crashes too.

p.s. as for now it works, only wanted to report compatibility issues and crashes.
