The whole point of the EMI test is that a product cannot ‘interfere’ or ‘be interfered by’ other electronic products either by the mains power input or being subjected to a wide band of electro-magnetic signals.
We run our own design of motor assembly using a mix of ‘off the shelf’ and some custom parts. We’ve never had an issue with interference so I find it strange that it’s taken PT a while to get this basic requirement sorted.
It hasnt taken them too long actually. It was done within a month of finding out about the issue / hence why you now see everyone else with AASD and MDBox servos all with shielded cables. But like i said, its usually not even emi that affects vr headsets - but actually GROUND LOOPS.
But this isn’t a forum for motion rigs or advertisements of any motion rigs and who’s is better.
