It says p2 on bottom of hmd. What does that mean?

Does that mean it is not a 5k+???

I could be wrong, but all the early models appear to me have a P2 model tag. My #352 5K+ and even my 8K BE has a P2 tag.

My 5k I got in December. This is a replacement and it says p2. How do I definitively tell my replacement is a 5k+.

PiTools would be one option. What does PiTools say? I don’t believe Pimax made any regular 5K units to date.

Mine is now that sticker, so that’s 3 different ones I’ve had.

Since the kc certification was completed in November last year, I think the p2 label product with the kc certification would be the latest product. In Korea, pimax 4k has been certified as p1 and pimax 8k has been certified as p2.

So far so good… no cracks, leaks, rogue pixels or other issues noticed so far with added bonus they forgot to put the black dots in it
