Was just thinkin how good the scenery looked. Seemed a shame to drive a slow old big rig when I think about several vehicles i wouldn’t mind runnin down those roads in. Feel free to shoot at someting while you at it

Its just sad that not more games are jumping the gun, most likley the best thing for gamin 8kX to get to those 90FPS

i can download mod and drive ferrari instead truck 
u can also remove traffic or make it less. 
I like ETS2 because it really is REALITY. Big world, hundreds of cities and roads. And I can drive everywhere … from the Norwegian north to the deserts of Iraq and Egypt. And every year the quality of the maps and the engine is getting better.
I wouldn’t play it on the monitor. But in VR, it’s a really killer thing. It really feels like I actually took a ride.

How well does it work with Pimax headsets? Would it be worth reaching out to the mod maker to ensure full compatibility? @hammerhead_gal
I am loving the game so far. Perfect balance of simplicity and accessible depth. Seven million players in a matter of months (six of those in the first six weeks??), I can see why. Made by a team of five, and only one is a developer!
Just proves to me that gameplay is king, couldn’t care less about low res textures etc. If they ever offer official support for VR, please work with them!

It works great in the 8KX…no need for parallel projections. I did have to reduce the resolution with my 1080ti but the game’s strength isn’t in high resolution textures anyway. Feels very immersive being in the world. Definitely worth checking out.

Great news, thanks for the confirmation.
I’ve been playing co-op from day one and my only other concern, being early access, is that grabbing the framework and installing the mod won’t cause problems with updates and saves etc. Will look further into people’s experience so far.

The mod works so well I don’t think official support really is needed. Very immersive and not super hard on the graphics card so fun for a decent variety of people.
