IPD setting in game

Hi,
it seems to me that the way we see the 3D is dependant of the game.

For example with ipd= 59 Unity Chan is clear and looks nice.
With the same ipd my eyes are not comfortable in Pcars and i see double.

So i think we need to be able to modify the ipd in game.

My suggestion is to use the volume buttons. I would like that you set 2 options in Piplay, we could have the choice of :
1_ use buttons for volume
2_ use buttons for ipd (slider for volume)

The option 2 will provide a slider where you could define a volume into piplay.

Having a volume control inside games is not mandatory because most of the games have a volume control into their option section so you can increase or decrease the volume there. For those which don’t have the volume control you could define the volume with the option 2 in Piplay.

I’m not sure it’s doable but if it is you should do it.
My 2 frcs.

Great idea,

Can the idp be change on the fly, i have to reset steamvr when i change my idp settings.

I think that the issue is not steam but the driver. It seems that piplay has to restart the driver each time you set a new ipd.

I have told it to engineers, the pimax mode will add this function to change IPD. Thank you for your suggestions!

My pleasure.
