I should not have to ask this - It should be clearly stated on your website. However even before I order, my time is already being wasted w/ this post. With that said:

If I pre-order now, when will the 8K arrive?

I recommend that you offer some sort of transparency regarding ship dates if you want to maintain long-term brand image for your corporation. You can mis-lead people in the short term and that can get you started, but good luck maintaining your customer base after doing so. Acting unclearly will prompt as many customers as possible, including myself, to jump ship to your competitors at the earliest opportunity. Just something I recommend carefully considering.

If the answer is in the forum somewhere, it sure wasn’t clearly visible or easily found.

Given that 8ks still haven’t been delivered to all backers much less the preorders before you awhile.

I ordered back in october when they announced Preorders. Mines didnt even go out and probably wont for awhile. It a waste of time honestly ordering until they improve their communication.

No clear eta as 8k kickstarter backers need to reveive first.

If you take Pimax official info, the 90th 8k is still in building state … so I’d expect yours to arrive around year 2034 …

Very top of the main pimax page (https://pimaxvr.com) says “Order today , Ship by 21st Feb.”

I’m gonna be buying a 5k+, is this info given not true then?

Probably given they have 1200 KS to ship and an unknown number of preoders to ship between 2/10 and 2/21.

They don’t have production problems atm with the 5k+, so you can expect that the first preorders of the 5K+ are leaving china after the chinese new year. As they have said that the backers of the 5k are fulfilled.

Except they haven’t made clear if they are honoring that all backers 8k included are first or not.

I would bet they ship the preorder 5K+ before the 8K backers get theirs, seeing they already have more 5K+ then they need. That is why they gave the 8K backers another chance to switch. Its not their fault the 8Ks are not ready. And those that want the 8K should be willing to wait so they get a quality product. They should just get the 5K+ and use the $100 towards a 8KX if they want it later. IMO

They probably will but it doesn’t change the promises they made. And yeah they gave us a chance to switch. Then the next day declared we couldn’t and since then it has been a mixed bag of some people able to and others even now just not being responded to. Finally yes the 8k debacle falls on their shoulders why simple they waited until 15 days ago to tell us the didn’t have enough panels. They chose to not tell us months ago and tell us then the 5k preorders would ship. As it stands both the backers first promise on their website and on the KS stands.
