Finally after uninstalling and re-installing the beta SEVERAL times, the Pimax 5K+ can now be detected by both PiTools and SteamVR.
Problem is, I can hear the birds in Steam VR Home, but the image is a horrible mess. Sometimes it’s the clear grey cube with the “SteamVR Home loading” and the basestations seen… Sometimes it’s the SteamVR Home location but the image keeps cutting everytime I move my head. It’s just a mess.
I don’t think it’s the HMD. It used to work fine before the HDMI cable was changed due to snowing. I don’t know what’s wrong. It feels software-related. Tracking and image is a big mess.
