[Failure] Bottom half of screen black?

Hey Guys,

Is my Pimax 4k headset busted? I’ts brand new, hooked it up with PiPlay v2.0.4.42 running the Nvidia drivers 384.94 on my GTX1080. Device Serial 10061165200096

When I look through the lenses it looks like the bottom half of the screen doesn’t work in both Video and Pimax mode

Done my best to capture the issue here: Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

When I play games in VR it remains black, when I change to video mode I see my desktop background but the bottom half is still black.

System Specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700K CPU @ 5.2GHz HT off
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Current resolution: 2560 x 1080 @ 60Hz
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Have you re-plugged the hdmi cable of the headst? or used the adapter or converter for connecting the headset?

I have HDMI ports x 2 on my graphics card, should be NO need for an adapter.

I’ve tried the other plug on my graphics card no change.

I uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers and PiPlay software, reinstalled everything and restarted.

Now it’s gone back to black under the logo like the other photo.

Were you able to fix this issue?. I’ve just purchased a unit in Amazon and is behaving exactly like described in this thread.
