win7 failed to install even in safe mode it says failed to install please disable antivirus i tried 2.0.4.42 and 2.0.5.46
and yes i ran them as admin help help help am plugging the rift back in pimax in the box
You should disable antivirus software when you install Piplay.
I know what happen! Before install piplay, you should delete the decoder named K-Lite in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

Safe mode means no software other than Windows loads at start up 
ok cant seem to find k lite any where but installation seems to fail at 151mb while installing direct x if that helps any

Irischen Please read my post before replying safe mode and can’t find k lite in other words no antivirus running and no k lite in control panel programs nor is there any trace of it in regedit
ok so i have a duel boot system running win8.1 as a fail safe back up for nothing only reinstalling and wiping my gaming setup running win7 so since i could not install piplay within win7 i ran win 8.1 and found i was able to install and run piplay pimax detected green light for hdmi and usb head tracking i did the gyro calibrations then ran steam vr but no joy steam does not detect hmd but my real question is what is win7 ultimate with sp1 missing that it cant install piplay???
