Did anyone else get this email today from Pimax? Of course if might all be fluff but according to this graph, all KS pledge orders will be shipped by mid January and preorders will start shipping mid January. So that means we might get the latest 7000’s backers units shipped by July, LOL! Hopefully not !!

Original ship date was estimated by Pimax to be Jan. Feb. 2018…so I’ll hold a more cautiously optimistic outlook.

They really need to step it up. The preorders are well over 200k now compared to 5000 backers. Saw someone that was at 156k preorder number.

Wow 156,000? Well thats good for Pimax’s future. Looks like they will have two more productions line running next month. I think they might need to step that up for those preorders though.

Maybe it’s 122,060 as 122 almost 123 preorders
I preordered on day 1 literally when preorders started and im order 1036
This may be 122,060, since Pimax has linked P4K sales to new HMDs 
so that the pre-order numbers look more powerful

It doesn’t mean order numbers are consecutive. We don’t know how the order numbers are structured. We don’t know if they reset after the website fail and they started another run 12xxxx when the newer site was brought up? We don’t know if order numbers are segmented and some digits signify something like region.
Its a nice number but I’m not seeing it at all for pre-orders for something that has a lot of doubt, a company with reputation issues to resolve, higher than expected costs and incomplete solution (lighthouse/controllers not yet available)
