DSP VR support integration

As far as i understand 3D you don’t have to calculate 2 pictures in the VR process.

After you’ve got the first image (or while) you find for each pixel of the first image the second by using the depth information (Z) and the ipd with a quite simple algorythm.

This algorythm could be hardcoded into the DSP of course which will make the VR available for all computers at barely no cost.

Now that Pimax is in touch with NVidia i would like to know if NVidia has planned to release a next generation of DSP with this functionnality or if they have planned to sell us many generations before including this function. lol

Not that easy.

Some parts are only visible with one aye, so can’t be “extrapolated” from a single image.

NVIDIA and AMD are working in something similar, but it’s much more complicated
