Downloads Collection of PiPlay/PiTool Software and similar

Hey,
at the Time ive started with my 4k Headset, the 5k and 8k where already released and it was pretty difficult for me to find a working Software Version.
There has never been an official Page with just old Software Versions and Firmware to download, which makes it difficult for Users of Pimax Headsets but also of Nolo to get the required Software for their needs.

Today i want to start a Collection of PiPlay and PiTool Installers, aswell as Firmware and Tools along with their Compatibility tested by the Community.
Be aware that some of these File are still available in the Community, view it as an Backup of those.
I hope i dident missed an active Thread of someone else doing so.
I would be happy about Compatibility Feedback and more Files to Host.

You can access all Files unter this Link. Stay safe, do verify the File Hashes.

I figured out how to view it here the other day, you have to click the ‘Release Notes’ tag. which takes you here:

https://community.openmr.ai/c/Pimax-pitool/Pitool-Notes.

Then you see the latest alphas and betas, and the bottom link goes to all the older versions :+1:

I’ve come across a google drive link on the Pimax reddit with lots of PiTool versions: all credits to YamaPii there, big thanks! (haven’t verified any of these files, so use at your own risk.)

It’s a shame end users have to keep a repository, while it should be Pimax that has all those released files available for everyone on their website. Would also mean less chance of virus-infected files being spread if Pimax hosted the files themselves.

Truth many tech sites eventually discontinue links for old software and drivers. I myself do like having access to old drivers for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons I am avid fan of Linux.

Hey @Playa just to let you know that I tried to grab 253 from your site a couple of times but it doesn’t complete, file always ends up being too small - last try was only 8Mb.

Fortunately it’s still here https://community.openmr.ai/t/pitool-1-0-1-253-jan-18-2020/25304 and the file is 126Mb

Hey, sry for this.
Actually my Setup died while i was uploading the Files, so they are partwise corrupted.
I will replace them as soon as i can.

Hello! I just made a account here to send you a special firmware version for the Artisan!
I had mine soft bricked by the new 269 update and no other versions I tried worked.
I could install them but the PiTools would give the error 10600 No DP connected…
After lots of searching this version of the firmware got it all working again!!

Hope this will be added to the archive and may it help someone else!

(it’s version: P2_D264)
