I bought it 2 years ago. It doesn’t display the version number in the floating window. Steam website doesn’t show any update option. If I begin the buy process it just tells me I already have it.
Right-click it in your Steam library listing, and open the properties window, then check in the Updates section. “Always keep up to date” is usually the default updating option.
