Discussion about FFR DFR pixalation and shadows depending on resolution

I’m not sure if this has been discussed before but I have discovered recently why we get huge shadows with FFR sometimes. This seems to be caused by in game resolution. At least in the Wizards original game. I was using conservative setting for FFR and had the horrible shadow effect going on, I then went in to the settings in game and raised some of the effects and resolution. To my surprise the shadows went away and the FFR area became pixelated and barely noticeable. So it seems the shadow effect is caused by low res games. Has anyone else noticed this?
