Good question I don’t know. Would have to check with Wireshark or similar but I don’t currently have it installed.

I need to keep PiTool running for the device driver. But PiMax VR Experience can be unchecked and then it won’t start. But PiTool itself is needed, imo.
No you need to keep Piservers and pilauncher running. Pitool can be exited. Some do this as in the past it improves performance.
Pitool is just the interface to change settings.

To start the PiServiceLauncher you need to give credentials, but there is no further prompt for the admin-pw.
