Can Pimax 8k come with the Oculus Go style Facial Interface?

The Oculus Go facial interface is the most comfortable facial interface I have ever used, and I own every headset released. It’s breathable, comfortable material, provides a good seal, soft, durable, and has this perfect sense of pliability that I don’t think any other facial interface has. It feels like some sort of cool gel, with a soft breathable mesh built into it. Hard to describe, but it feels like it’s molding to your face. Unlike other headsets whose facial interface is just a pad of foam, or faux leather. The Oculus Go facial interface is a clear step above everyone else in terms of comfort and quality.

The downside is the Oculus Go is front heavy, and the facial interface can’t fix that completely, but the facial interface they used is the best yet. I took it out, and placed it on my Rift, and it was amazingly comfortable.

If at all possible, can Pimax use a similar facial interface to the Oculus Go?

Nice idea. If the Oculus go & Oculus attach the same as vive it should be possible to use on the 8k.

But a great idea as many are not overly fond of standard foam.

Some premium options would be a great idea.

The weight of the 8K will play a big part, don’t expect the same comfort just because you have the same material.

I wonder if those can be bought on their own. If they are be able to fit other HMDs, I think I’d be interested to try one out.

EDIT: You can buy them from Occulus (£20): Meta Quest 2 & Pro Accessories | VR Accessories | Meta Quest
I will have to try and remember this

It might be simpler to make your own… out of burlap and silly putty?

I have a friend who is a capable seamstress. Seeing as we get spare face cushion I am going to see if she can modify it using a cotton mesh to bind the foam cushion. The fabric looks a little like the following:

Its breathable, fine for throwing in the washing machine and less irritable for the skin.
