Hi,
I don’t care what color the headset is. What concerns me more is that the coating will only hide all the cracks of the plastic case underneath and pieces will float around undetected inside the HMD.

I understand the functionality of the device is more important than the color. But the thing was black and looked awesome. Now it’s suddenly blue and just doesn’t make sense. The accessories are black, the MAS, the hand tracker. All black. It has that stealth shape, which we see in black everywhere else. I just don’t understand why there is a blue. Go away blue.
They will go with black if manufacturer will tell Pimax that yields are better with black
I do not Believe Pimax likes to lose money
I sometimes feel they are more indifferent than we are used seeing in other companies.
I don’t really mind the blueish color but as I said in another thread I am concerned about it possibly interfering with filming against a green screen. I already have issues with all 3 of the chevron colors picking up on the chroma keying in OBS Studio so I hope it is closer to black than blue. Then again putting one of the silicon covers on it will most likely mitigate that concern for me but now I just need the ability to change the chevron to red or something outside of the blue/green spectrum!
same as the vive vs vive pro.
haha so true. Theres so much things surrounding this line of products that scream the opposite.
Im sure there are alot more things im missing but your right.
Absolutely could not care less. I am looking at the inside of the headset.
Yes actually doesnt really matter, I will put a silicone protective thing on it
