Hello, I’m sorry for my bad english.
What I have to do if I can play assetto corsa with the Pimax 4k in VR.

I’ve read you need to install Revive and Oculus Runtime, but for me nothing works.

Can help me there.

and I have installed Pimax 4K Beta Software but not updated the firmware.
Run mode: Pimax mode

Press both ‘Look Left’ and ‘Look Right’ buttons (or CTRL+SPACE) to reset your view. You can also hold these buttons in and move your head to get the perfect match then release them to lock the position.

Now I have only one problem with the distance.
When I look far, look straight, flickers it in the picture very strong, so that it looks blurry.
What I can do, to fix that?

Try to find your best IPD.
Optimize AC settings to have at least 60 fps. Make all setting to minus then try to upgrade each one.

but you need a very good gpu.
I have a AMD R9 290 and i cannot go over 1.7 for rendersupersampling.
I can put my screen to 2560x1600 via VSR settings in RADEON utility and i put the same resolution in AC.
You also can change the oculus.cfg in your document\Asseto corsa folder PIXEL_PER_DISPLAY=1.0 to 2.0
I dont think we can have the same sharpness as a normal screen. The VR is just at the beginning.

Ok Thanks. I hope find the correct IPD for me … is very difficult. I have normaly 62-63mm.
Yes, for GPU I have a R9 390 OC with 8GB :grin: 60fps with high grafic settings.
VSR in Radeon utility??? Can I do it this settings with the Crimson software?
In the oculus.ini I have change the value to 1.5 for the moment.

yes this is correct but when you play assetto is the correctly mode the pimax mode

I dont use extend mode, i prefer use virtual desktop with steam.

If you change the resolution in the game it will only change the res of the mirrored window and not in the pimax so your just wasting gpu power.

asseto dont work in my pimax hmd… When i start a race, i my monitor been half red and half black, I hear a car sound in hmd, but just a black screen in lens.

i try to test only in monitor and the same problem happens. Black screen in monitor, i only can hear the sounds of game, without images.
