Any Motion Controllers Compatible With Pimax?

I cant find any motion controllers apart from the ps4move & htc vive.

Im not interested in kickstarter, whats available now?

Is the htc vive controller compatible with pimax?

Leap motion or PS move with specifics softwares for PC (More harder to configure than leap motion but more effective)
And razer hydra, but only in occasion for very prohibitive price.

No. HTC Vive controller work only with HTC Vive

Forget about PS move, it’s horrible, I’ve been fiddling hours and hours with it but never got to the point where it was actually useful (although others seemed to have got it working). Maybe it’s my cam position, the lighting in my room, not sure, but I’m tired of messing around with it.

So far I’ve found the best way to play games is using the xbox controller. And that’s quite sad.

I’m hoping NOLO will turn out to be the game changer we need.

There is 1 other motion controller that originally sold for $100. However since steam added support in steamVR ppl have drasticly increased the price.

I was fortunate to find one for $50.

Razer Hydra Motion controller. Its no longer in production. Its not wireless but seems to work pretty good. I have seem them selling on E bay for $150+

Otherwise you might find something using Wii controllers but likely to be not as good as per Psmove.

I’ve seen some hydra razers but theyre listed for £500 on ebay … i’d buy a pair for £150 lol …

What is the point of VR if you dont have any controllers? …

I couldnt get the wii controllers to work, & i dont think theyre compatible with steam vr …

I don’t know if there is direct support for wii controllers. But from what i read you need to do a special install of toshiba blue tooth driver then edit a file putting your blue tooth driver id in. Wii uses toshiba stack. As for steam hadn’t read anything on using controls.

Most prominent looking is NoloVR who is in a way on the right track.

Hmd should be seperate to pos/controllers. That way you choose headset n controls sepeperately. This gives you option to choose/upgrade componets seperately.
