The question now is, how many units of 5K+ and how fast can Pimax produce them and therefore if they still can deliver to all the backers this year as promissed.
Iāve backed the 8k-X full package and asked to have the 8k in the meantime until the 8k-X is ready for shipping. Now iād like to have the 5k+ for the meantime until the 8k-X is ready for shipping. Do someone know if this kind of switch is possible and how to initiate it?

It also depends on what you are trying to figure out from the survey.
Some backers backed 8kX but also had a choice for a 2nd headsetā¦ and others had a choice for a loan headset whilst they waited for the 8kX

20 FPS is like a night/day difference. If it gets 20 FPS more, it is worth it. Alsoā¦it wonāt be $1200. That is the scalping level right now. it should come down closer to $1000.
Anyone know any tests done with a single card dual gpu setup? I have a 295x2 and get fantastic performance, just dont know if that will translate to vr. It may be the deciding factor on switching to 5k+
@SweViver will in the near future be able to answer this somewhat as he has a 2080ti inbound.
